Grave-robbing produced the body parts that created the Monster...
...so what happens to a grave robber who deceives the Monster is ironic indeed!
This strip served as a template for later series, like Man-Thing, which featured creatures with minimal intelligence.
The people who interact with them are the driving force in the plot, and the creature serves as a catalyst for justice.
Whether it's punishment or reward depends on the people and their motivations!
But in Briefer's world, sometimes the innocent (like Hargol's wife) suffer before the guilty receive justice!
