Written by Walter Gibson aka "Maxwell Grant", creator of the pulp/comic book character The Shadow, and illustrated by Bob Powell (who rendered art for both the pulp and Golden Age comic incarnations of The Shadow), this never-reprinted tale from S&S's Ghost Breakers #1 (1948) presents Neff as a heroic "debunker", disproving and exposing those who would use illusion for evil instead of good!
